Blackberry Smoke Returning to Maine this Summer
Southern rockers, Blackberry Smoke, are making a return to Bangor this summer.
Blackberry Smoke is back. The group of southern rockers will make a return to Maine this summer. Their show at the State Theatre in Portland is set for Friday, July 22. Elizabeth Cook will open the show.
Tickets go on-sale Friday, May 13.
Blackberry Smoke were scheduled to return to Maine back in 2021 of their The Spirit of the South Tour. The show was ultimately scrapped due to COVID-19. The tour featured Blackberry Smoke, The Allman Betts Band, The Wild Feathers, and Jaimoe. The show was to take place at Rock Row, in Westbrook.
The Westbrook venue will likely not see concerts for a while. The owners of the Rock Row development say they would not host concerts in 2021, and beyond. The company, Waterstone Properties Group of Needham, Massachusetts, said the halt in concerts was due to ongoing construction projects on the property.
