After rescheduling the entire tour last year, it's a no-go for the Maine gig on the Spirit of the South Tour.

The tour will still trek across the country, but it will skip Maine. The Spirit of the South Tour features Blackberry Smoke, The Allman Betts Band, The Wild Feathers, and Jaimoe. The show was rescheduled to July 23, 2021, at Rock Row, in Westbrook. According to Waterfront Concerts the show is officially canceled.

Speculation of the show being scrapped started after Blackberry Smoke removed the Westbrook gig from their website. Throughout promotion of the summer tour, the Maine show has been nowhere to be found on any tour plans.

Fans who purchased tickets will receive a refund at point of purchase.

The cancelation comes as outdoor restrictions on physical distancing and capacity limits are ending in Maine. The hope is concerts will resume on the Bangor Waterfront this summer. Recently Alex Gray of Waterfront Concerts told WABI they will go forward with their schedule of concerts that were pushed from 2020, to this summer. The schedule, so far, includes Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and KISS.

It will take about a week to get the venue ready for shows.
