Blaze To Open Another Location In Bangor

Blaze restaurant is expanding and taking over a long vacated property on Main Street in Bangor.

Blaze Urban Pizza will soon occupy the former Gold Star Cleaners property next to Dunkin Donuts on Main street in Bangor. Gold Star Cleaners moved out of the location in 2013.

The new location will be a fast-casual gourmet wood-fired pizza restaurant. Also on the menu will be wood-fired wings and grab-and-go salads. The new location will have seating, but no table service.

The building will also serve as a kitchen for the growing Blazin’ Nation Catering Company. It will also be home to Blaze Brewing Company. The brewery will exclusively supply the Blaze restaurants with made-in-house beer.

The location should be open by the end of 2016, or at the latest before the end of January.

A rooftop beer garden is also in the works for the location. Construction on the beer garden will start in spring, with the hopes of having it complete in time for concerts on the Bangor Waterfront.
