They're going to kick things off this coming Saturday, December 9th at Jeff's Catering with a free Christmas Party.

According to Holly Taylor, Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens, the party will be taking place from 11 AM to 1 PM.

She says there will be complimentary professional photos with Santa, a chance to decorate Christmas cookies and ornaments, and even make your own reindeer food.

Later on Saturday evening, the Brewer High School AFJROTC will be hosting a Holiday Gift Basket Raffle and Spaghetti Dinner. That event will take place from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Brewer High School Cafeteria.

To bring us into the next week, a quick check of the Brewer Parks and Recreation Facebook Page will show you that there are several upcoming holiday events planned, including the tree lighting.

The Brewer Holiday tree-lighting will take place Monday, December 11th at 5:30 PM at the Children's Garden along the beautiful Brewer River Walk. There will be caroling to go along with the lighting. And Tim Horton's will be providing hot chocolate!

Later in the week, on Wednesday, December 13th, preschoolers who are not yet in Kindergarten (3, 4, and 5-year-olds) will have an opportunity to have breakfast with Santa at the Anna Ferris Community Center. That event will be taking place from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, with a charge of $5 for residents of Brewer, and $10 for non-residents.
