Chili Chowder Cook Off Wants To Heat Up Your Night Tonight

A staple in the Bangor area last year the Chili & Chowder Cookoff raised $6300.00 for Muscular Dystrophy in 2017 and it is time to do it again!

Hosted by the Bangor Professional Firefighters and Hollywood Casino. Participants will be found in the Lancaster Ballroom and the event begins tonight at 6 PM and runs until 8 PM tonight. In addition to the amazing food they will have a 50/50 raffle and other drawings to round out your fun.

Admission is a suggested $10 donation. Once admitted you will be able to sample chili and chowder from local restaurants. The event will also have offerings from local amateur chefs too. They're counting on your vote for the People's Choice award. Firefighters and local celebrities will also make to rounds to vote for the best chili and chowder.
