Chiquis Is The Hancock County SPCA Pet Of The Week

"Hi, my name is Chiquis! Don't worry, I don't know how to pronounce it either.

I am 6 months old, and I just LOVE to play! I like to jump on my sister Cheyenne, and I like to hide under blankets and then leap out and pounce on whatever is in front of me.

I used to be really scared of people, but I've recently realized that people like to play, too. So I have started coming up and letting people who look like fun pet me as an excuse to get them to play. I'm still not sure about being held, but we can discuss it when you get here to meet me.

I am looking for a new home! I want at least 1 playful cat friend (if you want to do something great, take both me and my sister Cheyenne home together!). I will consider homes with dogs, but it may take me some time to get used to a dog in my home, so you would need to be patient with me.

Mostly, though, I want a family of my own!"
