This weekend the NASCAR Sprint series is at Daytona International Speedway, a track that Danica Patrick created history last February on by being the first woman to secure the pole-position in a Sprint Cup Series event.  She then backed it up by being the first woman to ever lead a lap in the Sprint series, she then finished eighth in the race!  She and her crew are feeling confident heading into this Saturday's Coke Zero 400.

Danica's already the most successful female driver in American open wheel racing history, she competed in the Indy Car Series between 2005 and 2011 before moving along to NASCAR.  In 2008 she won the Japan Indy 300, becoming the first female to win a Indy race.

The pretty 31 year old driver pulled in a little over $12 million last year, and as her driving experience and commercial endorsements increase she can expect that income to rise!  Looking at Danica, we rise to the occasion too!

Danica was born in Wisconsin and grew up in Illinois. She got the racing fever as her father raced everything from snowmobiles to midget cars.  She got on a go-cart at the age of ten and never looked back!  You have to love a woman who will leave you in the dust!

Patrick was married for seven years and then divorced in 2012.  Normally we see her all bundled up in her racing gear, thankfully we have these pictures so that we can see more of her!  Go get 'em Danica!
