Ellsworth Police Schedule Sobriety Checkpoint

Police agencies are required to give you fair-warning, even though you may not deserve it.

Ellsworth cops will be set up somewhere within the City this Saturday night, beginning at 9.

It's always a good idea to drive sober.  Remember, buzzed driving is drunk driving.  The penalties for driving impaired in Maine could get you a fine anywhere between $500 and $2000, the loss of license for 150 days, and up to a year in jail, depending on the circumstance.
