Etna Woman Identified As Victim Of Friday’s Crash

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Department has released the names of two people involved in a fatal accident in Etna on Friday.

Sheriff Troy Morton says 73-year-old Debra Calderwood of Etna was driving a 2009 Honda Fit and was killed in the crash. The other vehicle, a 2009 Dodge Caliber, was driven by 31-year-old Richard Lupo of Etna. He was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center, where he remains. There's no word on his condition.

The two vehicles collided on Route 2 in Etna Friday afternoon. Officials have not released any details about how the accident happened or who was at fault.
