Former Gas Station on Broadway In Bangor Set To Become New Take Out Restaurant

There's a new spot opening soon on Broadway in Bangor, which aims to satisfy your appetite for something sweet and tasty.

Located at 599 Broadway, Shakes & Bakes Takeout is on track to open in a location that has historically been a Citgo, an On The Run, and Baker's Service Center.

The building sits right across the street from Tim Hortons and right next to Broadway Cannabis, towards the entrance of the Salvation Army Store.

According to its Instagram Page, Shakes & Bakes is a "Family Owned and Operated takeout restaurant specializing in tasty burgers, dogs, sausages, etc. We also offer soft serve and shakes!"

The Shakes & Bakes Facebook Page says that management hopes to open for business by the middle of this month.

Rob Baker, who ran the Baker's Service Center in the same spot for 20 years, will be running the new business.

Management says they are currently going through the hiring and interview process to staff the shop.

While they haven't finalized their menu yet, they have been inquiring about what kind of burgers, fries, and hot dogs people prefer.
