Hampden Council Members Refuse To Give Pledge Of Allegiance, What Up With That??

Wow is all I can say.  This YouTube video showing two Hampden Town Councilors remaining seated during the Pledge of Allegiance during the March 17th meeting is going viral. And I myself am embarrassed for Hampden and Maine.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recently added to the beginning of the council Meetings following a 5-2 vote. The councilors who voted against including the Pledge of Allegiance are William Shakespeare and Thomas Brann. They are the councilors who did not stand. my question to them is if you don't have allegiance to this country then why serve at all and who are you serving?
