A Familiar Face Has Taken Over Ownership Of Hampden Floral
For over 40 years, one florist has occupied a spot along North Main Street in Hampden.

Hampden Floral has developed a reputation of excellence over the last 4 decades, While the management has changed hands a few times over the decades, Hampden Floral has always remained an important part of the fabric of downtown Hampden.
Being from Hampden herself Kayla Rosina LaChance appreciates exactly how much this little flower shop means to the community where she lives.
LaChance even worked for Hampden Floral for a couple of years before the pandemic hit, leaving only because the skills her background in healthcare gave her were in demand, so she returned to be of service during those few years through Covid-19.
However, LaChance longed for an opportunity to do something more creative, and decided the time would be right to come back to a job that brought her such joy.
She made it official via the Hampden Floral Facebook Page this weekend, and along with the story of how she came to take over the business, LaChance also shared her excitement for what the future holds.
"It is our mission together as a family to serve our Hampden Area with all of the passion, joy, work ethic, skills, and loyalty that we have been lucky enough to have inherited from being members of this community for our entire lives. I look forward to serving you- our neighbors alongside my family, and sharing my fearless passion for creating lasting quality memories through floristry with you and yours. "
Growing up as part of another family owned business (her mother ran Rosie's Diner) LaChance can't wait to get her kids involved with this new venture.
"Our daughter Jemma said it best when asked what she thought would sum up our mission at Hampden Floral: 'Family Grows Here'."
