The United State Postal Service has made this easy for you!

To begin with, for the safety of everyone involved - When your local USPS mail carrier comes to your home to deliver the goods, let he or she safely put it in your mailbox before they walk away.  The USPS asks that you don't meet the letter carrier in the yard and then ask that they hand the mail to you.  Please remember the 6 feet of separation rule in this era of "social distancing."

Now, did you know that you can buy stamps at USPS.com?  Yes, you can.  You can even browse through years past and all sorts of different collections!  Yes, the Maine Statehood Stamp is still available as well!  Buy your stamps online and then your local letter carrier will deliver them to your home. Just click where it says "Stamps & Supplies
at USPS.com.

If you don't have a computer, then ask your local post office or letter carrier for a Stamps By Mail order form.  Order them up, and again, your local letter carrier will deliver them to your home.

What if you need to send a package?

You can order free Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express boxes, or other package supplies at USPS.com. Again, USPS will deliver the items to your address. And at USPS.com, by clicking where it says "Click-N-Ship", you can print a mailing label with the appropriate postage right from your computer. For this service you would have to create a no-cost account, just give account a user name and password.

Need that package picked-up? Go to USPS.com and schedule a free carrier pick-up. In your request, let your local Post Office know where they can find the package or packages and the carrier will retrieve them when he or she delivers your mail.
