"I grew up in a family that put a lot of emphasis on eating good food...Maybe not so good for you but stuff that tastes good and makes you feel good! I've worked in various kitchens and restaurants since I was fourteen years old. I have always loved feeding people and making stuff that tastes really good..... I like to be the person that people are excited to see what I bring to potlucks!"

"A few years ago I started baking a lot to cure boredom at night. I would bring stuff to work to share with my coworkers.... And I would post pictures of stuff I would make on my Facebook page."

"My daughter came home with a recipe for donuts cooked in an air fryer. She followed the directions and they were horrible.I told her we will find a good Donut recipe and it will be cooked properly in oil. We tried a few different recipes and when we finally found a winner, again, I posted it on my Facebook page. A friend of mine reached out and asked if he could buy a dozen donuts from me. I was totally shocked that somebody wanted to buy my food but I said yes sure! That is essentially how it all started."

"I would post on my Facebook page. What I was making and my friends and family were ordering dozens and dozens of donuts every weekend. Then they started ordering birthday cakes... Whoopie pies....cookies....you name it. It started getting so I was doing orders not just on weekends but on weeknights after working all day. It was around that time that I started thinking about doing it full-time."

"I was able to get a building to use and I got my commercial kitchen license. I quit my adult job with benefits and vacation time... And started working literally a hundred hours a week to keep up with all the orders and keep a storefront as full as possible."

"I do a lot of custom cake orders For weddings birthdays baby showers... Whatever you would need a cake for. I also started doing small event catering. I had my shop in Carmel for exactly one year... And then the building I was in was not available for me to use anymore so I had to shut down at the end of September 2022."

"I had no idea what I was going to do... Where I was going to find another place to set up a shop.... Or if I was going to continue doing it."

"The people that kept ordering from me even when I didn't have a shop... They were willing to meet me in a parking lot at certain times of the day. The amount of support I got from these people that I barely even knew blew my mind. It showed me that people were rooting for me and wanted to support me even if it was one dozen of cookies at a time!"

"A really good friend of mine had a space available and let me get in there to renovate it so I could use that for my shop. In December the town of Hermon approved the zone change and we got to work on renovations. Over the last seven months, I have been kept so busy with orders from customers... Whether it was for specialty cakes or someone who just wanted an easy weeknight dinner."

"I do have another young woman that is a close friend of the family that helps when she's not at school, and my boyfriend comes in and helps when he can. He's also the person that made it possible for all the renovations to even happen- he's the one that made the vision of my shop come to life. (I have SO many people that I am so grateful and thankful for. I'm a hard worker, but I couldn't have done this alone) As an overview of what we offer.....we do everything! I do not have a menu as we do so many things! We offer a variety of sweets from cookies, to fudge, to cupcakes and cheesecakes....specialty cakes....to pre-made meals, salads, soups....to grab-and-go lunch items and breakfast sandwiches and coffee."

"I'm super excited and proud to be able to offer other local people's goodies-- jams, maple syrup, local honey, Maine Man Flavahs sauces, handmade jewelry and more. Everything have started because people wanted to support a little business, so if I can help someone else with theirs, I'm all for it!"
