Beachcombers all over the state of Maine are donning the plastic gloves and picking up everything from old tires to cigarette butts!  Wanna help out Mother Nature by tidying up?  Here's how!

International Coastal Clean-Up Week continues until this Saturday, with events happening in Sorrento, Surry, and many other locations throughout our state.  Everything is made possible by those that volunteer!

The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry has a fabulous WEBSITE that can give you the answer to all of your questions and tell you how to volunteer!

According to the State's site, in 2016, almost 1200 volunteers collected 19,674 pounds of trash from 74.8 miles of coastline!
