There is one store in Maine that is a staple for Maine shoppers. It’s called Renys and if you haven’t been, you probably haven’t been in Maine.

We all know their theme song.. well guess what, they are now going to be bringing their signature “Maine Adventure” to the town of Waterville, according to Central Maine.

The grand opening of the new store at Elm Plaza will kick off on Thursday, April 10th. That’s tomorrow!

That is a true testament of the dedication of this family-owned business. They have literally endured any and everything thrown at them.

This Waterville store is located in the former JCPenney 31,000 square foot spot at 60 Elm Street Plaza.

JCPenny closed it’s doors back in September of last year after being there for 40 years. So, they passed the baton to Renys and they could not have chosen a better Maine store to represent this space.

Tell me about Renys!

Renys is widely known for their variety of merchandise. They offer clothing, footwear, houseware, Maine-themed items and gifts and has been growing strong since 1949, according to their website.

To prepare for the upcoming opening, they held a job fair back in February.

So, make sure to ask your Alexa to remind you to be at this exciting grand opening, April 10th!

The newest Renys is going to bring you everything you’ve asked for!
