Four people who planned and carried out a violent home invasion in search of marijuana have received their prison sentences.
What Were the Details of the Home Invasion?
The last of four suspects in this case, Derek DaPrato, received his sentence in Portland on Tuesday for charges that stemmed from a home invasion in York, Maine in August of 2019. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Maine, four men met in Hooksett, New Hampshire to plan the home invasion of a York residence. The goal was to steal marijuana and marijuana sale proceeds from the man who lived there. They traveled to the Maine home and two of the men donned masks and armed themselves with handguns before waiting in the woods for the victim to come home.
