Nara Organics is voluntarily recalling all cans of its infant formula sold online and at Target stores nationwide because of botulism concerns.
The CDC and FDA said three infants, ages 2 to 5 months, were hospitalized and treated for infant botulism after drinking Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula, with cases reported in California, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

Health officials said symptoms of infant botulism can take several weeks to appear and may include constipation, poor feeding, loss of head control, difficulty swallowing, and decreased facial expression.
The CDC advises seeking immediate medical care if an infant consumed Nara Organics formula and develops symptoms, and says caregivers should monitor children for a month and wash any items or surfaces that may have touched the recalled product.

According to the FDA and Nara Organics, the specific product lots tied to the hospitalized infants were 709125280E14F2, 709125288E14F2, and 708125174E14F2.
The company is voluntarily recalling all cans of its infant formula and says customers who bought formula from its website in May or June will receive automatic refunds, while others can request refunds or follow Target’s return policy for store purchases.

And there you have it! Nara Organics is voluntarily recalling all of its infant formula sold online and at Target.
