And they are bringing some other friends from the 1990s with them.

Another great show is coming to the Maine Savings Amphitheater.

It's never too early to start dreaming of hot summer nights on the Bangor Waterfront, especially when they start announcing shows for the upcoming 2024 season.

Get ready to take a trip back in time with Hootie & The Blowfish, and special guests, Collective Soul, and Edwin McCain, when they come to town, on Friday, June 14, of next year, as part of the "Summer Camp with Trucks Tour 2024."

Hootie & The Blowfish have won two Grammy Awards, landed sixteen singles on the charts, and released six studio albums. The band's 1994 debut album, "Cracked Rear View" was certified platinum 21 times. The band is known for its three Top 10 singles: "Hold My Hand", "Let Her Cry", and "Only Wanna Be with You".

And of course, lead singer Darius Ricker has had a successful career as a solo country artist over the last several years.

Collective Soul had quite a run in the 90s as well. They racked up a bunch of hit songs during a period of several years. You can be sure you will hear classic jams like "Shine", "December", "The World I Know" "Heavy" and "Gel".

Singer/songwriter, Edwin McCain, dominated the radio in the late 90s with the hits "I'll Be", and "I Could Not Ask for More"

Tickets go on sale, this Friday, November 10th, at 10 am. You can purchase them on the Maine Savings Amphitheater website

There will also be a pre-sale, on Thursday, November 9th, from 10 am-10 pm.

Huge list of "Cool Stuff" that kids in the 80's and 90's were all about.

Everything from the 80's and 90's screams "Cool!". Ok, looking back at photos of kids in their bright neon shorts and Hypercolor shirts where their armpits were pitted out, that really doesn't look all that "cool" today but if you were a kid back then, we sure felt like we knew style. Go through the list and see how many of these items you had in your room or used back in the day.
