According to the City of Bangor's website, the work started over the weekend and will go, from 8 PM overnights till 6 AM, through Thursday, October 23rd. Portions of the road will be closed so that demotion can take place on the Southbound bridge that goes over Broadway.
"During these hours, Broadway will be closed to all vehicles. Flaggers will be onsite to assist pedestrians safely through the work zone during the closure period."

The roadwork, particularly on the interstate itself in the area has created a bit of a headache for motorists, as an increase in crashes within the work zone has been an issue the past year or so.
