Popular Brewer, Maine Restaurant & Bar Reopens Its Doors Today

Not to worry, they are back!

After a brief hiatus for some deep cleaning, and a rest for employees, a local favorite will open back up today.

If you happened to drive by High Tide in Brewer, the last several days, you may have been wondering why the parking lot was empty, well you need not wonder anymore.

As a rule, January is the slowest month in the service biz. Lots of people do a “Dry January” and don’t indulge in such activities, especially after spending an entire holiday season drinking, eating and just being merry in general.

Knowing that business usually comes to a standstill this time of year, High Tide, located at 5 South Main Street in Brewer, shut things down for 4 days, but they are re-charged and will crank things up again for 2026, with a weekend full of food & fun, starting today, Thursday, January 15th.

In previous years, they have shut down for either a week, or the entire month of January, but the wait this time was just 4 short days.

Now that the break is over, you will continue to get delicious seafood, burgers, and other great dishes, along with fantastic live music on the weekends, and outdoors on their awesome deck in the summer months.

Celebrate this weekend, with the following events:

• Friday-Live music with MEGS, from 7pm-10pm
• Saturday-Live music with Z.T. Stephens, from 7pm-10pm
• Sunday-New England Patriots playoff football on multiple screens, with food & drink specials, at 3pm!

No need to worry, after a quick and much deserved rest, the crew at High Tide is back to serve you.
