Southern Maine is about to get a lot more fun starting in early May, as one of the region's most beloved attractions prepares to open for the season.
Wonder Mountain Fun Park in Wells has announced on its website that it will open for the 2025 season on Saturday, May 3. The news is a welcome sign for both Mainers and tourists. It's another reminder that summer is just around the corner.
Wonder Mountain Fun Park in Wells is Ready for the 2025 Season
Wonder Mountain Fun Park is a multipurpose facility featuring a variety of seriously fun and exciting attractions.
The park is best known for its miniature golf, which seems to be the true focal point. It includes two full courses—one named Mountain Mayhem and the other Nautical Nightmare (points for the alliteration). The courses feature numerous water elements, make full use of the "Mountain," and are well-known for being family-friendly.
Wonder Mountain Fun Park also features a sweet go-kart track, a human maze, and an arcade. That's quite the diverse lineup of activities. There's definitely a little something for everyone. However, I do have questions about the human maze. I assume everyone has made it out, right? I feel like I’d probably struggle in there.
Wonder Mountain Fun Park is a Multipurpose Facility That is fun for the Whole Family
Wonder Mountain Fun Park is just one of many mini golf spots opening for the season. Early May is a pretty standard opening time, especially in Southern Maine. And as we all know around here, the better weather brings the tourists.
Wonder Mountain Fun Park's site has a complete calendar of events, current hours of operation, and attraction pricing. You can find it all here.

I must admit, this is a mini golf course I haven't played yet. As I mentioned in a previous article, my goal is to play all the ones I’ve missed. It seems we’re ready to start lining up some tee times. I’m looking forward to conquering the “Mountain.”
