
Legendary Blues Guitarist, Joe Bonamassa, Set To Shred On Stage With Gov’t Mule In Bangor This Summer
When guitar gods like Slash call you their 'Favorite Guitar Player, ' you've got to be doing something right. And folks in Bangor will get to experience what all the fuss is about this July, as iconic blues guitar legend Joe Bonamassa visits the stage at the Maine Savings Amphitheater.
Waterfront Concerts is bringing Bonamassa to Bangor on Friday, July 31, 2026.

The American Blues Rock guitarist and songwriter has shared the stage with a laundry list of who's who in the music industry since he exploded onto the scene as a kid opening for B.B. King. King once prophesied that the guitar virtuoso would "be a legend before he's 25."
King was not wrong. Bonamassa has almost 30 #1 Billboard Blues Albums, 5 Grammy nominations, and 4 Blues Music Award wins.
Bonamassa is continuously touring, hosting and performing at Music Festivals across the world, hosting his own podcast, Live From Nerdville, and SiriusXM radio show, and has even started his own non-profit foundation, Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation.

Joe Bonamassa has played Maine before in recent years, appearing at Portland's Merrill Auditorium in 2022 and on the Maine Savings Amphitheater stage with special guest Joanne Shaw Taylor in July of 2024.
This time around, Bonamassa is bringing legendary Atlanta-based Southern Rock Band, Gov't Mule, fronted by guitar legend, songwriter and producer, and Grammy Award winner Warren Haynes, to the stage to open for him.
Tickets for the July 31, 2026 Joe Bonamassa Bangor show go on sale this Friday, December 12 at 10:00 AM EST.
