One of the Last, If Not The Last, Car Meet of the Year in Bangor

If the weather is anything like it was this past weekend, well that would be something. But beautiful warm weather or not there will be a car meet in Bangor this coming weekend.

The group known as Mainely Money Pits will host a meet this Saturday between Noon and 3 p.m. in the parking lot behind Movie Rocket Bangor at 268 Odlin Road.

Simple fun for car buffs young and old.

Here is the overhead of the Movie Rocket building and parking lot. Around the back in the red is where you’ll find the cars. The blue is for overflow.

And reminiscing about old-time commercials for drag races where they’d say “some go. Some blow” there are some very firm guidelines and rules from the Mainely Money Pits car group.

This is a family event. Permission was granted to use the back parking lot and group members remind all who will attend to respect and appreciate the use of the venue.

And there are kids around.

So no tolerance for any ‘funny business.’
