The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says 41-year old Donald Searway was sentenced to two years in jail at the end of last September. He was supposed to turn himself in, but never showed. That's when authorities went looking for him, but they didn't have to look far.

"Detectives and Patrol Deputies observed Searway in a vehicle on Union Street in Hermon and eventually stopped the vehicle on Billings Road in Hermon. During the traffic stop, Searway was immediately arrested on active warrants. Additionally, Searway was charged with Unlawful Possession of Schedule W Drugs (fentanyl) and held on a probation violation."
