Man Found by News Crew Reporting His Disappearance

Timing is everything.

Robert McDonough went missing around 4PM Monday in Limington. The 73 year-old suffers from dementia and apparently wondered away from his home into the woods.

WMTW was reporting Robert's disappearance live from outside his home around 7 o'clock Tuesday morning. In the video, as the crew sets up the camera a man can be seen walking down the road behind the reporter. Sure enough it was Robert!

Robert was in good physical condition despite being out in the cold overnight temperatures.

The Maine Warden Service had been using aircraft, infrared cameras, K9's and ATV's to locate Robert.
