
Orrington Auto Shop Closed After Fire, Reopens, Kind Of…
It's been a little over 2 weeks since fire tore through an Orrington auto shop. The fire at Lav's Auto on the River Road, which operates as a dealership and service and repair center, caused significant damage to one of the bays on site.

Owners Frank and Krystal Lavigueur has issued a statement on Lav's Auto Facebook Page that all future appointments would be canceled, and the business would be closing indefinitely until further notice due to the damage.

As of this week, they have released another statement saying they are now partially open.
"Gas is back up. 24 hrs, Pay at the pump ONLY, Credit or Debit ONLY
Additionally, we are open for Auto Sales ONLY 🚘, no Service or Detailing. We are located in the detached garage out back. Thank you again to everyone for all the kind words and support."
The State Fire Marshal's Office originally investigated the blaze and determined that it was most likely caused in one of the service bays, accidentally.
