Pink Floyd Tribute Band, The Machine, Mourns Loss of Lead Singer
Shine on, Joe.
Pink Floyd tribute band, The Machine, is mourning the loss of their co-founder, lead singer, and lead guitarist. The band announced on social media back on January 25, Joe Pascarell passed away. No cause of death has been announced.
The band said in a Facebook post, "We’re eternally grateful for the lifetime of friendship and music we’ve shared on-stage and off, and we know he will be with us as The Machine continues on. Shine on, Joe."
Pascarell co-founded the band with Tahrah Cohen back in 1988. He would leave the band twice, once in 2000, and again in 2012. Joe re-joined the group in 2015, and would remain in the band as lead singer, and lead guitarist.

The Machine has played numerous shows over the years here in Maine. Most recently at Aura in Portland.
