Start making your campground reservations now!

The Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands are taking reservations starting today for all of the State Parks across the State of Maine.

Sebago reservations started on Monday but today all State Parks are open to be reserved.

Camping as a Mainer is kind of expected.  If you do an annual camping trip like I do, now is the time to figure out your dates and make your reservations to camp at destination throughout the state to take in some beauty and nature of the Maine great outdoors.

Right now you can start booking your group camping reservations, too.

First you gotta figure out which State Park to visit:

  • Aroostook
  • Bradbury Mountain
  • Camden Hills
  • Cobscook Bay
  • Lake St. George
  • Lamoine
  • Lily Bay
  • Mount Blue
  • Peaks-Kinney
  • Rangeley Lake
  • Sebago Lake
  • Warren Island

Campground rates for these locations start at $15 for Maine residents, but do also check out the family/group camping up to 6 people, which is an additional $5 per night.

You can also do some river camping on the Allagash or the Penobscot River corridor for $6 per Maine resident a night.  Bonus, kids under 10 are free.

Check out reservation fees at the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands website for the State Parks listed above.

Group camping info can be found here through the Bureau of Parks and Lands page on the Maine.gov website.

Just want to stay for the day?  Check out this page through the Bureau of Parks and Lands page on the Maine.gov website.

Reserve your camping trip online at www.campwithme.com or give the reservation center a call at 800-332-1501, for Maine residents.  There's also an email address available: campground.reservations@maine.gov.

Calling the Reservation Center?  Note that their hours are 9 AM - 4 PM weekdays

Happy camping, even if summer seems sooooo far away.
