Rod Stewart and Cheap Trick will once again hit the road together. The summer trek features a stop just shy of Maine.

They're back at it. Rod Stewart and Cheap Trick will hit the road again this summer. The trek includes a stop in Gilford, New Hampshire, at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. The show is set for August 28, 2023.

Tickets go on-sale Friday, January 13.

Rod Stewart was last in Bangor in 2017, along with Cyndi Lauper. Both Rod Stewart and Cheap Trick were to perform in Bangor back in 2020. The show was ultimately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion is starting to fill their calender for the 2023 season. Rockin' road trip worthy shows include Brett Michaels, with Night Ranger and Jefferson Starship, July 22. Foreigner and Loverboy will also make a stop at the 603 venue. The show is set for August 4. Foreigner says this will be their final tour.

Foreigner frontman since 2005, Kelly Hansen, says his vocal ability at his age is part of the reasoning behind the final tour. Hansen tells Billboard“I never would have thought in a million years I’d be singing these songs in the keys at this age, and I don’t know how much longer I can do that at the level I need do." He continued, "We’re at an era in life where a lot of bands from the ’70s are right on the ragged edge of still being able to do shows. I see other musicians sometimes that I go, ‘Wow, that was disappointing,’ and I don’t want to be someone that other people say that about."

Could Bangor get a show? It's a possibility. The band says more dates, both in the U.S. and overseas, will be announced. The dates are expected to stretch through the end of 2024.
