
Rosie’s Home: A Happy Ending For A Dog Who’d Gone Missing In Glenburn, Maine
It's always nice when there's a happy ending to a story, to we're going to celebrate this one!
Rosie, the nine-year-old English Mastiff who went missing in Glenburn, amidst the chaos of police chase/search, is finally home!
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, she returned to her owners this week.
"Rosie is home! Rosie is home. With the relentless search by family, friends, and the community, Rosie found her way home."
According to the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, at the beginning of the month, shots were allegedly fired by masked individuals during a home invasion on Danforth Drive in Glenburn, Sunday August 3rd.
Deemed friendly but timid, Rosie managed to elude everyone who was out and about looking for her, for the better part of 10 days.

Members of the Sheriff's department along with concerned citizens and family members, have spent 2 weeks combing the Glenburn area for any sign of the dog.
Thankfully, aside from losing quite a bit of weight, it looks like she survived the ordeal without any major issues.

According to WABI TV, the a family member reports that the dog is finally back home and doing well.
"We’re told Rosie visited the vet today, and while she lost significant weight, 18 pounds, she appears to otherwise be in good condition."
We're very glad to hear all is well with Rosie, and that she's back where she belongs!
