See How Augusta Police Saved A Deer This Morning [PHOTOS]

Wow, at times, cops really do get to do a lot of cool things.

Look what happened on a school soccer field in Augusta this morning.  A young deer got caught within the netting of a soccer goal.

Thankfully, a few of the officers at the Augusta Police Department knew what to do, and the outcome was ever so cool as the deer scampered off into the woods. Check out the photos they posted to Facebook this morning!

This reminded us of another cop/deer story that happened a while back.  It happened in 2015, when Officer Gil of the Ellsworth Police Department responded to a car-deer accident on Route 1A.  Gil ended up with two newborns as buddies!  See the story and photos HERE!
