SILVER ALERT Cancelled – Missing Man is Safe

Bangor Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 69-year-old man, who suffers from dementia.

UPDATE: The Silver Alert is canceled. Bangor Police say Jason Anderson has been found in Downtown Bangor and is safe.

Jason Anderson left his home on foot, in the Husson University area of Bangor, sometime between 1:00 and 5:00 Wednesday morning. Police say he has dementia and other health problems, and so they're concerned for his safety. Anderson is 5'8" tall, 160 pounds, with reddish-blond hair and blue eyes. Officials are unsure about what he was wearing.
