Spirit Of The South Feat. Blackberry Smoke/Allman Betts To Play Maine
This will be a big one for fans of southern rock!
Spirit of the South, with BLACKBERRY SMOKE, THE ALLMAN BETTS BAND featuring founding member of The Allman Brothers Band JAIMOE, and Wild Feathers will play live at the Maine Savings Pavilion at Rock Row in Westbrook, on Friday night, July 24th.
This "celebration of southern rock and roll music" will feature three full band sets followed by an all-star jam finale featuring all the bands plus a few "special guests" playing the southern rock favorites you love", according to a Waterfront Concerts press release.
Part of this concert experience will include admission to The Allman Brothers Band Museum at The Big House Traveling Experience, free to all ticket holders!
Besides long-time Allman Brothers drummer Jaimoe, the Allman Betts band includes guitarist Devon Allman, the son of Greg Allman, guitarist Duane Betts, the son of Dickey Betts, and Berry Oakley Jr., the son of the original Allman Brothers bass player, Berry Oakley.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 6th at 10 a.m. at all Waterfront Concerts ticket outlets.
