Stephen King to Appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

The first guests on Colbert's new show have been announced.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert premiers on CBS Tuesday, September 8th. The first show for the former Comedy Central star will include guests George Clooney and presidential hopeful Jeb Bush. The inaugural show also features a musical performance by Jon Batiste and Stay Human.

Among the premier week guests is Stephen King! King will appear on the show Friday, September 11th with comedian Amy Schumer. Troubled Waters will be the musical guest that night.

Other celebs joining Colbert that week include Scarlett Johansson, SpaceX and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, Kendrick Lamar, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick and Toby Keith.
