Nor’easter Expected To Bring Lots of Snow To Bangor Area Thursday

Forecasters are releasing more details on a good old-fashioned Nor'easter headed to Bangor and eastern Maine on Thursday.

The National Weather Service is predicting 8 inches for Bangor, with more snow expected eastern Maine. According to NWS Caribou, Machias and Calais could see as much as 15 inches of snow.

The storm is also expected to bring strong wind, creating poor visibility on the roads.

Snow estimates could change depending on the track of the storm. Officials are urging folks to take appropriate precautions before the storm.
