Support Local Lee Businesses By Going On An ‘Artisan Crawl’
Do you have some last-minute shopping to do for the holidays? Are you into supporting local businesses?
There will be an opportunity for you to do both of those things this coming weekend in Lee.
Local business owner Josh Crise, who runs Marble Creek Acres, has put together the 'Town Of Lee Community Artisan Crawl' not only to give people a chance to grab some great gifts but also to give local businesses an opportunity to thank their customers.
"We appreciate the support!!! The intent of the crawl is to thank the community with one last event for the year. The community has been super supportive throughout the past year and each of these artisan shops has seen its own successes and it is due to the overwhelming support of the Town of Lee Community and the surrounding towns."
On Saturday, December 21st, Crise is encouraging people to hit up a handful of spots in Lee, and possibly win a prize for their efforts.
"✨ Explore & Support Local: Discover handcrafted wines, pure Maine maple syrup, freshly baked goods, handmade soaps, instruments and hats, and Maine photography – all made with love right here in Lee!
✨ Win a Craft Basket: When you visit participating shops, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a basket packed with locally made treasures from each business.
✨ Connect & Celebrate: Meet the makers behind your favorite artisan products and share in the festive spirit."
Crise says there are a handful of spots along the crawl, one of which houses several businesses under one roof.
"There are three places to visit in town, Mattakeunk Maple, Home on the Grange, which houses 5 businesses, and Maine Cellars @ Marble Creek Acres—our winery and cidery. At each location, you can earn a ticket to be entered into our raffle for a gift basket."
