Look around for a moment, at your friends, your family, your neighbors, your co-workers; there's a good chance you know someone who has been affected by childhood illness or trauma.

And while it's certain that most people want to help children and their families who are in those situations, some folks won't necessarily know how to.

That's why we want to harness the power of our airwaves to help spread the word about the Children's Miracle Network, and how their main focus is to help kids in need, and those who care for them.

This Thursday, JStew & Cori will be hosting a 12-hour "Turn Up The Miracles Radio-a-thon" to help raise both awareness and money for CMN. Not only will they spend the day playing great classic rock like they usually do, but they will also spend some time during those hours speaking with children, their families, and the medical professionals who care for them.

You'll hear their personal stories, and how the Children's Miracle Network has made certain things possible for these patients. They'll also be speaking with some of the organizations and businesses in the community that have decided to sponsor this event and support children's health in a very special way.

You'll have several opportunities that day to donate, if you feel moved do so. There are 3 major ways; by calling in a donation to (207) 973-4599, by donating online at MiraclesInMaine.org, or by texting MAINEKIDS to 51555.

Things will go back to normal Thursday evening, but from 7 AM to 7 PM get ready to hear a healthy dose of optimism, strength, and inspiration mixed in with all your favorite Classic Rock N Roll.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to listen, and for your consideration in making a donation to this really important cause.
