Mother Nature is one ferocious lady, especially after dealing with Old Man Winter!  Look out downstream!

Watch nature's fury in this video posted on Facebook last night by the Aroostook County Flood Watch Group.  It shows the yearly spring occurrence of ice letting loose and flowing downstream on the Aroostook River at Fort Fairfield.

Of course ice jams this time of year could create numerous problems, like taking out bridges and extreme flooding, but fortunately there's nothing really bad to report at this time.  But, if you leave downstream beside any major river or stream, it's always advisable to be on the lookout!
