What’s The Hardest College To Get Into Here In Maine?

Yeah, we know that it's a tough gig getting into the more prestigious schools across the nation. Schools like Harvard, Yale, Princeton and MIT come to mind.  But what about here in Maine?

Academic review site Niche.com used acceptance rates along with SAT and ACT scores provided to the U.S. Department of Education to assemble their data.

Niche.com says that Bowdoin College here in Maine is the hardest to get into. Located in Brunswick, Bowdoin is a private liberal arts school. According to Wikipedia, "It is consistently one of the top ranked and most prestigious liberal arts colleges in the United States."

Overall Bowdoin College came in at #15 on the Top 100 Best College List. Other Maine schools on the list include Colby College in Waterville at #56 and Bates College in Lewiston at #83.
