Woman Causes Thousands In Damage, Ends Up Naked In A Boat In Rockland
Much like a force of nature, authorities in Rockland say one woman tore through parts of town Monday night leaving a path of destruction (including cars, a boat, and a building) in her wake.
WMTW reports that Rockland Police caught up with 30-year-old Sierra McDonald at the local boat landing around 10:30 Monday night after receiving calls that someone had destroyed some things nearby and made off with a canoe.

When they caught up with the culprit, she not only went on to try to commit another crime, right in front of them, but they say she also chose to remove all her clothing.
"Officers found McDonald just offshore in the canoe, but say when they started talking with her, she got in the water, stripped naked, got on a nearby lobster boat, and tried to untie it...police say they found significant damage to a building and several vehicles in Rockland's South End, where officers say windows were smashed with rocks."
Under the circumstances, Rockland PD took McDonald to get checked out. Once she was given the ok to leave the hospital, authorities charged her with criminal mischief and aggravated criminal mischief. She had also violated the conditions of her release, so Rockland PD put that on the list, as well.
Police believe McDonald committed about $10,000 in damage during her trip through town.
