Bangor Starbucks Set to Reopen After Two-Month Renovation
It's been a minute since folks in the Bangor area have been able to hit up the Starbucks at 38 Bangor Mall Boulevard for their favorite caffeine fix.
The store closed on June 12th for a scheduled remodel during which employees, who were still paid, participated in training and development meetings and activities and took part in some volunteer opportunities.
The building has been completely gutted and upgraded. And it's not just the inside that's been improved. The parking lot area surrounding the building will have new pavement and striping when they open.
The only thing that wasn't reworked was the drive-thru.
After almost two months of construction, Starbucks management hopes to reopen the coffee shop by Monday, August 8.
Another local coffee shop that's been closed for a while due to renovations recently reopened.
The Dunkin on Odlin Road in Bangor is now open for business again.
Coffee lovers of Eastern Maine rejoice.
