After touring with Willie Nelson this summer, ZZ Top is coming to Maine.

ZZ Top is returning to Portland. "The Little Ol' Band from Texas" will perform at Merrill Auditorium. The show is set for Wednesday, October 19. Tickets go on-sale Friday, July 29.

This will be the band's first time performing in Maine without bassist, vocalist, and band co-founder, Dusty Hill. Hill passed away last July at the age of 72. Longtime band guitar tech Elwood Francis has been performing in his place ever since.

ZZ Top is currently on the road as a part of Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival. The tour will make a stop in Gilford, New Hampshire this summer. The show at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion is set for Friday, August 12. Willie Nelson, Zach Bryan, Charley Crockett, and War & Treaty are also on the bill.
