A suspect that robbed Cumberland Farms on Mount Vernon Avenue in Augusta is still on the loose.

Augusta Police Lieutenant Christopher Massey says a male described as younger looking, about 130 to 165 pounds, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and light cargo pants had most of his face covered and was wearing gloves. The man showed a gun and demanded money from a Cumberland Farms employee. He fled on foot and was tracked by a K-9 unit going north on Mt Vernon Ave until the scent was lost. No one was injured during the incident. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Augusta Police.
