Steven Tyler's transition from Aerosmith rock legend to down-home country singer is reflected in his new video for "Love Is Your Name," the first single from Tyler's upcoming solo album. You can watch it above.

In the clip, an insanely long scarf billows from a microphone stand in an empty arena, while Tyler stands on the front porch of a beat-up rural cabin. The scarf is then dragged out by a willowy young blonde dressed in white, who, by the end of the video, reunites it with the singer and walks away. Along the way, we see Tyler and various friends and musicians celebrating with an all-day party.

Last October, Tyler announced that he would be recording a solo country album in Nashville in early 2015. "Love Is Your Name," which came out as a single in mid-May, so far is the only song to be released from the project. Following Aerosmith's North American summer tour -- which concludes Aug. 7 in Canton, Ohio, as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's annual enshrinement festivities -- Tyler will return to Nashville to complete work on the album.

Tyler recently said that his bandmates in Aerosmith were not happy with his decision to go out on his own, but bassist Tom Hamilton pointed out that isn't the case. "He wanted to do this creative exercise of going and making an album, and I can’t blame him for wanting to do it," he said. "Joe [Perry]’s done it before, I’d love to do it someday. Why be angry about it?”
