The 2021 Maine Moose Permit Lottery Drawing Is This Weekend

This weekend the names of lucky hunters selected for moose permits will be announced.

A traditional gathering of hopeful hunters will not take place in-person again this year. The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will stick to the virtual format, as they did last year. The 2021 Moose Lottery will be broadcast online, Saturday, June 12, at 1 p.m. Below is the live-stream.

All of the results will be posted online by 6 p.m. that day. You can view the list of all of those selected here. Note: The link will show 2020 moose permit winners until the 2021 results are published.

The 2020 Moose Lottery Drawing was to be held at Sky Lodge in Jackman. The hope is for the venue to host the next drawing, possibly in 2022.
