Keep that shovel and warm clothes handy!

If you think all that rain on Friday (with more to come tomorrow) was a pain in the behind, one weather analyst seems to think that we are in for a rough winter here in the state of Maine

It's that time of year again when all sorts of winter forecasts come at us on an almost daily basis. A YouTuber named Ryan Hall is a professional weather analyst and storm chaser. He has 704,000 subscribers, so he knows a thing or two about these things.

He recently posted a video with his predictions for the upcoming 2022-2023 winter that will be here before you know it!

One stat in particular that stood out, was the amount of snow he thinks we will get. On a graph of the entire United States, he is predicting 72+ inches of the white fluffy stuff for all of us to dig out from in the coming months. Scary thought huh?

On a different chart, it looks like we are also going to be in for some days of bone-crunching cold days. In general, it would be best to prepare for a colder-than-normal winter.

Should we take any of this as the definitive word on our upcoming winter? Not necessarily, since lots of people break these things down all the time, but it seems like Ryan Hall knows his stuff. So get the ice scrapers, gloves, hats, scarves, shovels, and boots handy, looks like we will need them.
