
Need An Ice Cream Cake For That Feb. Birthday? DQ In Brewer Will Be Open Soon!
Despite the recent frigid forecasts, Mainers love their ice cream! And far be it from a freezing temp or two to keep them from a frozen treat!
Good news for ice cream lovers, and those with February birthdays, the greater Bangor area will soon have another ice cream stand open for the season!

While Fielder's Choice made the choice to open it's 6 locations last week, the Brewer DQ seems to be following suit.
According to the Brewer Dairy Queen Facebook Page, they will open their doors one week from today!
"That's right Brewer DQ Fans! We'll be opening earlier this year! See you February 7th!"
It's my belief that stands like this do well and can open early because they have a drive-thru. I'm not sure I'd wait in line outside in the cold for an ice cream, but in a heated vehicle, that's warm inside, bring it on.
So to everyone that has a hankering for a blizzard, dilly bar or ice cream cake, you will soon be able to soothe that craving with some ice creamy goodness!
And for those of you who are wondering when the Broadway Dairy Queen location will be opening in the beginning of February, as well.
Historically, Gifford's Ice Cream stands across the state open in the first few weeks of March.
We're told Spencer's Ice Cream in Bradley, which was under new ownership last year, is being put up for sale again.
