‘All Roads Music Festival’ Plots Return To Belfast In 2022

An annual music festival in Maine is passing on 2021, and looking to return in 2022.

Organizers for the annual All Roads Music Festival in Belfast say they hope to bring the event back in 2022. The festival spotlights Maine bands and artists with performances, panels, artist development sessions, and special events at multiple venues throughout Belfast. A return date has been set for May 20 and 21, 2022.

In an announcement on Facebook, organizers say:

With recent positive updates on the timing of expanded capacity for gathering and with the momentum on increased vaccination, we are excited to focus on bringing the All Roads Music Festival back to Belfast in 2022! We have a lot of optimism from our stakeholders, sponsors, venues and performing artists. Although it will be a different festival when we return, we are excited to share some cool new additions and exciting changes to our festival as soon as we are able!

The annual music festival in Belfast, going on its sixth year, is usually held the third weekend in May. Last year it was pushed to September 11 and 12, prior to ultimately being canceled.

The festival joins a growing list of scrapped events for a second year. This week, organizers for the annual Maine Lobster Festival announced the event has been canceled. The festival will celebrate its 75th anniversary next year. A new date has been set for August 3-7, 2022. In addition to the Lobster Festival, the annual Yarmouth Clam Festival, and the annual Moxie Festival in Lisbon, have also been scrapped for 2021.
