The folks at Maine's most popular brewery are calling it a "week-long, beer-filled thank you.”

Between Monday, April 27th, and Sunday, May 3rd, Allagash Brewing in Portland are offering up a 12-pack of 19.2 oz. Allagash White to any first responder or healthcare work for $1.  You must show a badge or work ID and pick up your free beer at the Brewery itself, at 50 Industrial Way in Portland.

Alcohol producers cannot legally give away their product free of any cost, which is why they're charging $1 for the 12-pack.  But, those collected funds will be donated to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital right here in Maine.

Healthcare workers and first responders are working on the front lines of this global pandemic, and many other businesses as well are offering free product, including McDonalds, which yesterday offered up a free "Thank You" meal to both groups as well.
